When Isidoor Laureijs came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC wilsele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoor Laureijs couldn't finish the play. Birger De Schutter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 played minutes FC wilsele got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Frans. Bernd Emeleers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger De Schutter in the 12th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Isidoor Laureijs took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bernd Emeleers to make any attempt to save it. Stein Reijdams kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes, Java's Stein Van Laer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bradly Bain came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Java reached it. Isidoor Laureijss short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Bernd Emeleers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernd Emeleers made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Timur Polyanskiy sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Java's goalkeeper Bernd Emeleers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Java's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cazimir Frântu 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Isidoor Laureijs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernd Emeleers having to make a save. Stein Reijdams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When Isidoor Laureijs, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bernd Emeleers was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Birger De Schutter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernd Emeleers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoor Laureijs's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Isidoor Laureijs struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bernd Emeleers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC wilsele. Stein Reijdams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Emeleers having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoor Laureijs in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernd Emeleers saved Java from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Birger De Schutter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bernd Emeleers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Java's Bernd Emeleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoor Laureijs in the 72nd minute of play. When Birger De Schutter came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC wilsele fans jumped to their feet. After 85 played minutes Java got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Decremer. Isidoor Laureijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 95th minute, Isidoor Laureijs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that FC wilsele were the better team. FC wilsele's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
