In the 5th minute, Soren de Neuyter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Java's goal looked a bit too open when Artuur Caspers came free, but Bernd Emeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Cuppens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Ballette having to interfere. Nakama Pro Soccerclub's Rudy Ballette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Cuppens in the 14th minute of play. Mattias Cuppens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rudy Ballette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lars Huijgens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Huijgens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Java's Bernd Emeleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artuur Caspers in the 20th minute of play. Java's Bernd Emeleers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Java from getting a goal against them. Ernest Decremer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Ballette having to interfere. Artuur Caspers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bernd Emeleers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ernest Decremer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Java's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Decremer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudy Ballette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Huijgens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Emeleers having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Java was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soren de Neuyter to maneuver through the defense. Artuur Caspers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bernd Emeleers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Huijgens in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernd Emeleers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
If Artuur Caspers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nakama Pro Soccerclub's Rudy Ballette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Nakama Pro Soccerclub from getting a goal against them. After 69 minutes, Artuur Caspers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nakama Pro Soccerclub and the Java players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Java booed when Nakama Pro Soccerclub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artuur Caspers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Lars Huijgens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Emeleers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Nakama Pro Soccerclub's goalkeeper Rudy Ballette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Cuppens. If Mattias Cuppens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Java's Ernest Decremer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudy Ballette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mattias Cuppens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudy Ballette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Cuppens in the 83rd minute. Mattias Cuppens scored 0-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudy Ballette, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Artuur Caspers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Emeleers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernd Emeleers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Huijgens, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Lars Huijgens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernd Emeleers. Java's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Huijgens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Artuur Caspers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Emeleers having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
