Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raf Van Brussel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Glen De Roeck took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustave Baumans. Gustave Baumans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Jelle Verhoeven came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Jack Black fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jelle Verhoeven couldn't finish the play. After having played for 9 minutes, Floris Van Cauwenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Edegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Floris Van Cauwenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wannes Celis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sander Westelinx was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Xander-Paul Lenaerts. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Glen De Roeck put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gustave Baumans. Jelle Verhoeven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gustave Baumans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Edegem's goalkeeper Gustave Baumans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoffel Van Houdtvinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sander Westelinx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glen De Roeck made a kick off. Glen Thielemans kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gustave Baumans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen De Roeck in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Floris Van Cauwenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sander Westelinx. Jack Black's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Floris Van Cauwenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Floris Van Cauwenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raf Van Brussel in the 71st minute of play forced Jack Black's goalkeeper Sander Westelinx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raf Van Brussel hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jelle Verhoeven struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gustave Baumans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jack Black. KFC Edegem's Gustave Baumans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen De Roeck in the 81st minute of play. Floris Van Cauwenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
