Rens Maes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rens Maes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qwinten Theys in the 12th minute. Qwinten Theys struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rens Maes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Schellebelle. With his leg Rens Maes managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when SC Schellebelle's Qwinten Theys fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Qwinten Theys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Maes having to interfere. Sebbe Jacobs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Ingelborgh in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Schellebelle getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Christof Gheysen hit a great ball. Walter Netels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rens Maes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richmond Everts, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Richmond Everts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rens Maes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamie Ingelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Van Acker charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaaf Van Acker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustaaf Van Acker kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to The Green Tigers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nicky Bautmans hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richmond Everts in the 45th minute of play forced The Green Tigers's goalkeeper Rens Maes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebbe Jacobs came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by The Green Tigers's Jamie Ingelborgh. But to his dismay, Jamie Ingelborgh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The wind increased when Jamie Ingelborgh made the kick off in the second half. Bob Dejonghe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Richmond Everts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rens Maes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 61 minutes of play SC Schellebelle's Gustaaf Van Acker was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 62nd match minute, SC Schellebelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Van Acker to maneuver through the defense. Jamie Ingelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Qwinten Theys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebbe Jacobs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jamie Ingelborgh in the 77th minute. Douglas Schockaert's late challenge caught a SC Schellebelle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Schockaert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, The Green Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Schockaert to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Marnix Pelsers managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Green Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Marnix Pelsers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebbe Jacobs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, The Green Tigers's Jamie Ingelborgh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebbe Jacobs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
