Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Richmond Everts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sebbe Jacobs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raf Van Brussel in the 4th minute of play. Gustave Baumans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richmond Everts in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Qwinten Theys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Edegem's Gustave Baumans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richmond Everts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Baumans having to interfere. After 22 played minutes KFC Edegem got a freekick which was hit by Tibaut Van Latem. Ivo Lefevre was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gustave Baumans came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Schellebelle's Richmond Everts. But to his dismay, Richmond Everts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qwinten Theys in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustave Baumans saved KFC Edegem from getting behind. Qwinten Theys took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustave Baumans. Gustave Baumans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 36 played minutes, SC Schellebelle's Ivo Lefevre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustave Baumans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Schellebelle reached it. Tibaut Van Latem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KFC Edegem's Gustave Baumans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten Theys in the 41st minute of play. Qwinten Theys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustave Baumans having to make a save. After 47 minutes of play, SC Schellebelle's Richmond Everts made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustave Baumans was left in no man's land by his defense there! The KFC Edegem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Schellebelle were winning 0-3.

If Christoffel Van Houdtvinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Floris Van Cauwenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebbe Jacobs was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Floris Van Cauwenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Edegem's zone, Richmond Everts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustave Baumans came out of the goal and Richmond Everts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Floris Van Cauwenberg struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sebbe Jacobs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Edegem. When Raf Van Brussel fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Edegem's protests and gave Raf Van Brussel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Schellebelle booed when KFC Edegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raf Van Brussel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Richmond Everts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Edegem's Gustave Baumans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Qwinten Theys scored 0-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustave Baumans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Qwinten Theys managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Schellebelle's supporters rose to their feet, but Qwinten Theys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustave Baumans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
