Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Constantijn Van Kelf kicked off to start the match. Wout Van Dijck came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by BluB FC's Jerome De Mijer. But to his dismay, Jerome De Mijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Van Kelf in the 9th minute of play forced Battice's goalkeeper Wout Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Geldhof didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sterckx went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wout Van Dijck made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jerome De Mijer sent off a good shot on target. Jerome De Mijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Wout Van Dijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerome De Mijer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Wout Van Dijck made a huge save. If Frank Sterckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Jerome De Mijer could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Wout Van Dijck however easily saved by the left post. Wout Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantijn Van Kelf in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Hendrik Vercouteren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Battice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BluB FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Battice's Hendrik Vercouteren got a free kick in the 30th minute. Wout Van Dijck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerome De Mijer in the 33rd minute. In the 43rd minute, Frank Sterckx made a precise shot to the right of Harald Geldhof. BluB FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sterckx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Battice's Wout Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome De Mijer in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Battice's goalkeeper Wout Van Dijck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wout Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome De Mijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute Constantijn Van Kelf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wout Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Pino Vercouteren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BluB FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 73rd minute, Frank Sterckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harald Geldhof was a little too slow when Gustave Verelst got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-3. 80 minutes into the match, Battice's goal looked a bit too open when Constantijn Van Kelf came free, but Wout Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jerome De Mijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Battice defense, Constantijn Van Kelf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wout Van Dijck. The Battice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wout Van Dijck should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes, Pino Vercouteren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BluB FC and the Battice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Battice booed when BluB FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pino Vercouteren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Battice getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gustave Verelst hit a great ball. When Jerome De Mijer came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the BluB FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerome De Mijer couldn't finish the play. Jerome De Mijer hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Frank Sterckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Battice were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
