Spectators: 7564 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernd Valckx kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Marco Bal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zemst fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jacque Vloeberghs charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacque Vloeberghs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bad Beat United getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jacque Vloeberghs hit a great ball. Mark De Winter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Steven Van Geel made a huge save. After 10 played minutes Zemst got a freekick which was hit by Pieterjan Schooters. The crowd rose to their feet as Bad Beat United's Bernd Valckx slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Steven Van Geel. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. After 17 played minutes Bad Beat United got a freekick which was hit by Sven Huygens. Steven Van Geel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernd Valckx in the 21st minute of the match. Zemst's Steven Van Geel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernd Valckx in the 23rd minute of play. Marco Bal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes, Dean Klijnhens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zemst and the Bad Beat United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Zemst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Klijnhens to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bad Beat United booed when Zemst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieterjan Schooters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steven Van Geel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark De Winter went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Bal to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Bal in the 62nd minute of play forced Bad Beat United's goalkeeper Geoffry Niewens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Van Geel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernd Valckx in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zemst's zone, Bernd Valckx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Van Geel came out of the goal and Bernd Valckx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Bal in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geoffry Niewens saved Bad Beat United from getting behind. Steven Van Geel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark De Winter in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Zemst's Erik-Jan De Mayer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geoffry Niewens. Geoffry Niewens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 86th minute, Erik-Jan De Mayer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Geoffry Niewens was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Marco Bal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Bal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 94th minute Bernd Valckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Van Geel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernd Valckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Steven Van Geel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zemst getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Jeoffrey Lefebre hit a great ball. After having played for 99 minutes, Erik-Jan De Mayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zemst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik-Jan De Mayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Bad Beat United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zemst's performance. The match ended with a win for Zemst.
