Etienne van Bedts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Harrie Anthonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lou Van Leempoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Dekeyser in the 80th minute of play. Harrie Anthonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Verhoeven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC. Pikolas's goalkeeper Lou Van Leempoel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lou Van Leempoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Dekeyser, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The FC. Pikolas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KV Lanaken's performance. The match ended with a win for KV Lanaken.
