With his leg Kobe Vissenakens managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when FC Draconia 2's Manu Van Lint fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christiaan Jongbloedt scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richey Englebert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Draconia 2's Richey Englebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Martin in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Hot Chili Devils's zone, Manu Van Lint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kobe Vissenakens came out of the goal and Manu Van Lint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kobe Vissenakens made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Manu Van Lint sent off a good shot on target. If Patrick Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Draconia 2 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. William Stuyck hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, FC Draconia 2's goal looked a bit too open when Christiaan Jongbloedt came free, but Richey Englebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Patrick Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richey Englebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiaan Jongbloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richey Englebert having to interfere. William Stuyck charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Stuyck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, William Stuyck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Draconia 2 booed when Red Hot Chili Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cederique Vollens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artuur Stuijckens, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jordi Smidts made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Red Hot Chili Devils's Patrick Martin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richey Englebert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When FC Draconia 2's Manu Van Lint in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Manu Van Lint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kobe Vissenakens having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Jordi Smidts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Draconia 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 81 minutes into the game, one of FC Draconia 2:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 85th minute, Dries Smidts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Red Hot Chili Devils's Patrick Martin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. If Patrick Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richey Englebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. Red Hot Chili Devils's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
