With an all-out effort, Red Hot Chili Devils's Harrie Anthonis threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrick Martin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, KV Lanaken's Harrie Anthonis got control of the ball when Christiaan Jongbloedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kobe Vissenakens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedict Landewijck in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Patrick Martin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KV Lanaken's Harrie Anthonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save KV Lanaken from getting a goal against them. Kobe Vissenakens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Dekeyser in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiaan Jongbloedt got free with Harrie Anthonis in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
