The referee showed Reinaud Braeckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Red Hot Chili Devils's Toon Baumans got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lou Van Leempoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Christiaan Jongbloedt came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Red Hot Chili Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiaan Jongbloedt couldn't finish the play. Jose De Rudder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kobe Vissenakens. Red Hot Chili Devils's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernt Verhoeven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kobe Vissenakens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etienne van Bedts in the 38th minute of the match. Patrick Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lou Van Leempoel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Freek Dauwen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kobe Vissenakens, 1-2. In the 69th minute, Etienne van Bedts reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kobe Vissenakens. The goal made the score 1-3.
