Hugo De Rijck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Didier de Pelsmaekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Didier de Pelsmaekers struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Frans De Wever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZVC ReLoaDed. Hugo De Rijck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Tobbackers during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Germinal Beershot booed when ZVC ReLoaDed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Tobbackers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Hugo De Rijck notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Germinal Beershot's Frans De Wever. Frans De Wever was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daan Van De Wijngaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dyllen Wittemans having to interfere. Hugo De Rijck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Frans De Wever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didier de Pelsmaekers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans De Wever having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luke Van Aerschodt to make the kick off. Dyllen Wittemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Van Aerschodt in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Germinal Beershot's Frans De Wever got control of the ball when Hugo De Rijck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo De Rijck took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frans De Wever. Frans De Wever dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Frans De Wever made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Hugo De Rijck sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Hugo De Rijck made a precise shot to the right of Frans De Wever. Germinal Beershot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luke Van Aerschodt scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dyllen Wittemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Germinal Beershot's zone, Hugo De Rijck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frans De Wever came out of the goal and Hugo De Rijck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes Germinal Beershot got a freekick which was hit by Guy Konings. Thanks to some nice moves Hugo De Rijck could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Frans De Wever however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in ZVC ReLoaDed's zone, Daan Van De Wijngaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dyllen Wittemans came out of the goal and Daan Van De Wijngaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, Germinal Beershot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Tuerlinckx to maneuver through the defense. Dyllen Wittemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daan Van De Wijngaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd match minute, ZVC ReLoaDed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenney Armentier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daan Van De Wijngaert in the 94th minute of play forced ZVC ReLoaDed's goalkeeper Dyllen Wittemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Germinal Beershot supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ZVC ReLoaDed's performance. The match ended with a win for ZVC ReLoaDed.
