Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kim Thielens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tom Van Herendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Calstermans having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar den Pelsmaeker during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesar den Pelsmaeker hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Kim Thielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dolf Kerkhove having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Dany Vergouwen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Kim Thielens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moerdijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Thielens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franck Calstermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Paelemans in the 22nd minute of the match. Dolf Kerkhove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Weets in the 28th minute. Tom Van Herendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Calstermans having to interfere. Brian Paelemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moerdijk's Franck Calstermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Van Herendael in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Moerdijk's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Paelemans came free, but Franck Calstermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tom Van Herendael to strike the kick off in the second half. Brian Paelemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Van Herendael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franck Calstermans having to make a save. Brian Paelemans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franck Calstermans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Van Herendael in the 59th minute of play forced Moerdijk's goalkeeper Franck Calstermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KSV Coolegem's Dolf Kerkhove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Weets in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KSV Coolegem's Dany Vergouwen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Vicente Weets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dolf Kerkhove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Brian Paelemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moerdijk's Franck Calstermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Moerdijk from getting a goal against them. Franck Calstermans made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Brian Paelemans sent off a good shot on target. Brian Paelemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Calstermans having to interfere. Jakob Van Eyken charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakob Van Eyken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. KSV Coolegem were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Moerdijk to leave the ground with a draw.
