Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, RFC Ertvelde's Karel Pelegrims nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natan Hellemons made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to RFC Ertvelde getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ian Panhuyse hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Jeroen Peers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Wigers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guido Gijselinghs might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Wigers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Gijselinghs ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy De Bruijn in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Wigers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andy De Bruijn struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jorge Wigers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVSK Kaggevinne. Andy De Bruijn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of RFC Ertvelde booed when KVSK Kaggevinne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Van Hecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. RFC Ertvelde's Karel Pelegrims got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Karel Pelegrims came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the RFC Ertvelde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karel Pelegrims couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, KVSK Kaggevinne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Van Hecke to maneuver through the defense. Karel Pelegrims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natan Hellemons having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RFC Ertvelde's zone, Guido Gijselinghs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Wigers came out of the goal and Guido Gijselinghs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KVSK Kaggevinne's Guido Gijselinghs got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy De Bruijn to strike the kick off in the second half. Natan Hellemons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Pelegrims in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Andy De Bruijn took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jorge Wigers to make any attempt to save it. Jorge Wigers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy De Bruijn's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. If Karel Pelegrims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelle Van den Haute kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Natan Hellemons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tijs Valckenaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Karel Pelegrims sped through KVSK Kaggevinne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natan Hellemons. Andy De Bruijn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natan Hellemons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tijs Valckenaerts in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, KVSK Kaggevinne's goal looked a bit too open when Tijs Valckenaerts came free, but Natan Hellemons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tijs Valckenaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of RFC Ertvelde booed when KVSK Kaggevinne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michiel Steenbecks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steff Coopmans hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, RFC Ertvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Andy De Bruijn came free, but Jorge Wigers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Gijselinghs scored 2-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Wigers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
