Christoff Terhorst started the match with the kick off. After having played for 10 minutes, Dimitry Koppen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dennis Lissens didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SK Oombergen's Gill Van der Veeren shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When Erik-Jan Schepmans fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Oombergen's protests and gave Erik-Jan Schepmans a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SK Oombergen's Erik-Jan Schepmans got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gilles Jannis made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Phillipe Van Meirhaeghe sent off a good shot on target. Gill Van der Veeren took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Lissens. Dennis Lissens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Marten Beaufort managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Oombergen's supporters rose to their feet, but Marten Beaufort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Lissens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes Ehsal got a freekick which was hit by Benne Ghesels. Dennis Lissens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gill Van der Veeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. SK Oombergen's Gilles Jannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geordy Ballette in the 26th minute of play. Marten Beaufort recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Lissens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gill Van der Veeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Lissens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gill Van der Veeren in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dennis Lissens was a little too slow when Marten Beaufort got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-5. 57 minutes into the match, SK Oombergen's goal looked a bit too open when Phillipe Van Meirhaeghe came free, but Gilles Jannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SK Oombergen's Gilles Jannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoff Terhorst in the 59th minute of play. Gill Van der Veeren struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dennis Lissens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Oombergen. The supporters of SK Oombergen booed when Ehsal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 70th minute of the match, Gill Van der Veeren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dennis Lissens was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 72 minutes into the match, SK Oombergen's Gill Van der Veeren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Lissens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marten Beaufort struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Dennis Lissens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Oombergen. 78 minutes into the game, SK Oombergen's Gill Van der Veeren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Lissens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. SK Oombergen's Gill Van der Veeren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. SK Oombergen's Marten Beaufort got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SK Oombergen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. The supporters of SK Oombergen booed when Ehsal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Nys didn't get a good kick on the ball. SK Oombergen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
