Nic Van Aerschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Schellekens having to interfere. If Arnauld Baele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes FC Flexon got a freekick which was hit by Andrez Soetemans. If Jacky Wolfdoncx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacky Wolfdoncx to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Nic Van Aerschot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 71 played minutes FC Flexon got a freekick which was hit by Tibaut Coremans. Jaspar Langendonckx came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Geetsbeek's Kurt Deswarte. But to his dismay, Kurt Deswarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Jacky Wolfdoncx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Flexon's Jaspar Langendonckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnauld Baele in the 78th minute of play.
