Jens De Maijer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernest Teunens came out and tried to block the shot, but Jens De Maijer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens De Maijer in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Teunens saved FC Pouri from getting behind. In the 15th minute Joerie Van de Velde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boudewijn Gobbelijns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hendrik Heijlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Vereijt kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joerie Van de Velde in the 27th minute of play forced AC Pussemange's goalkeeper Boudewijn Gobbelijns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robin Van de Weijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Van de Weijer struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Luka Vrijdags made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, AC Pussemange's goalkeeper Boudewijn Gobbelijns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hendrik Heijlen. After a rather tough play, AC Pussemange's Robin Van de Weijer got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to AC Pussemange getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anthony Vereijt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Vrijdags in the 64th minute of play forced AC Pussemange's goalkeeper Boudewijn Gobbelijns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes, AC Pussemange's Anthony Vereijt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernest Teunens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Pussemange reached it. Thomas-Jan Van hoeijveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. FC Pouri's Ernest Teunens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas-Jan Van hoeijveld in the 95th minute of play. Many of FC Pouri's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Pouri may have spent more time on the ball, but AC Pussemange were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
