Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) KFC Waalshoek's Albert Daneels started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Halvedreet's goalkeeper Xander Wegers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillaume Provoost. Janes La Rose kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. KFC Waalshoek's Theo Bracke shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Xander Wegers but with some difficulty. After 16 played minutes Halvedreet got a freekick which was hit by Joris Van Gijsel. In the 26th minute Albert Daneels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xander Wegers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillaume Provoosts short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Xander Wegers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guillaume Provoost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander Wegers having to interfere. Rudy Spoelberchs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pieter-Maarten Vermeiren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Arthur-Maurits Wortelers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Theo Bracke fired a really elegant long shot, but Xander Wegers threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 42nd minute, Guillaume Provoost fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Xander Wegers, passed just outside the right post. Halvedreet's Xander Wegers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Daneels in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Dominick Van Langendonckx made the kick off in the second half. Xander Wegers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Provoost in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Guillaume Provoost ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xander Wegers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 61st minute, Halvedreet's Dominick Van Langendonckx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. KFC Waalshoek's Guillaume Provoost got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KFC Waalshoek's Tom Soetemans got a free kick in the 71st minute. Guillaume Provoost's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xander Wegers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Tony Daniels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halvedreet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Waalshoek the free kick. After 79 played minutes Halvedreet got a freekick which was hit by Tony Daniels. Guillaume Provoost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KFC Waalshoek's Guillaume Provoost got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryan Kerkhofs hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. KFC Waalshoek walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
