In the 33rd minute, Albert Daneels reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aime Van den Ende. The goal made the score 2-0. After 37 minutes, Albert Daneels made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gallaix's Aime Van den Ende tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. KFC Waalshoek's Guillaume Provoost got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Daneels was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Daneels couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Gallaix's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Daneels came free, but Aime Van den Ende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
