Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jammy Van Kamp started the match with the kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when Mathieu Slegers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, belisia's Refael Theys threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mathieu Slegers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mathieu Slegers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Benne FC's Richy Raymaekers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Neels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 11 in the game by Bruno Koppens from a close distance when the talented Refael Theys managed to make a qualified save. Benne FC's players were relieved. Refael Theys made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Bruno Koppens sent off a good shot on target. Refael Theys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Slegers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Richy Raymaekers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Neels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathieu Slegers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Refael Theys having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, belisia's Mathieu Slegers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Refael Theys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richy Raymaekers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Bruno Koppens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. belisia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Koppens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Mathieu Slegers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benne FC's Refael Theys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathieu Slegers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathieu Slegers to strike the kick off in the second half. Refael Theys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Koppens, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Benne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Slegers came free, but Refael Theys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Benne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Sterkx to maneuver through the defense. Remi Van Cleijnenbruegel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Refael Theys. Benne FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bruno Koppens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Refael Theys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
