When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brent Deville made a kick off. If Brent Deville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Benny Gyselincx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 69 minutes, Evert-Jan Goethuys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Legendary Academy and the RSC Wechelderzande players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brent Deville's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Gyselincx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that RSC Wechelderzande were the better team. RSC Wechelderzande 's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
