Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roben Van Hallebeecke started the match with the kick off. Trooz's Kevin Verhaghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Van Den Wijngaert in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute Felix Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Outgaarden 's Lorenz Borginions got a free kick in the 16th minute. Trooz's Hannes Hombroeckx couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Outgaarden . Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathieu-Maxim Petermans in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Verhaghe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kevin Verhaghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Van Den Wijngaert in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Felix Van Den Wijngaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Outgaarden 's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Van Den Wijngaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Verhaghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carel Meersmans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kevin Verhaghe. Trooz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mathieu-Maxim Petermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Verhaghe having to interfere. When Jordi Vrijdag fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trooz's protests and gave Jordi Vrijdag a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Outgaarden booed when Trooz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordi Vrijdag didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Van Den Wijngaert took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Verhaghe. Kevin Verhaghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tommi Boemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roben Van Hallebeecke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Felix Van Den Wijngaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Felix Van Den Wijngaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Van Den Wijngaert to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Verhaeghen in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Outgaarden 's goalkeeper Tommi Boemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trooz's Kevin Verhaghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Van Den Wijngaert in the 53rd minute of play. Trooz's Kevin Verhaghe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Trooz from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Trooz's Jordi Vrijdag got a free kick in the 58th minute. A hard shot by Lorenz Borginions from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Kevin Verhaghe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Van Den Wijngaert in the 67th minute of play forced Trooz's goalkeeper Kevin Verhaghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Trooz got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Vrijdag. Mathieu-Maxim Petermans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kevin Verhaghe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jordi Vrijdag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, SC Outgaarden 's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Verhaeghen came free, but Tommi Boemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommi Boemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roben Van Hallebeecke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathieu-Maxim Petermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Yanniek Overloop suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jordi Vrijdag hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Mathieu-Maxim Petermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kevin Verhaghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Trooz got a freekick which was hit by Diedrik Quvelirs. A collision led to Trooz getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Bill Smeyers hit a great ball. The Trooz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Outgaarden were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
