In the 14th match minute, Huppelende Begijntjes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram De Vos to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Ludwig Clement put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Senne Huysmans. Ernst van Eijnde's late challenge caught a FC Piggy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst van Eijnde helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Piggy booed when Huppelende Begijntjes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst van Eijnde didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Louis-Philippe Debruyn came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC Piggy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis-Philippe Debruyn couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Huppelende Begijntjes FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wannes Van Deuren hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles-Antoine Uytterhoeven during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Huppelende Begijntjes FC booed when FC Piggy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Senne Huysmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huppelende Begijntjes FC. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michiel Omblets to strike the kick off in the second half. Senne Huysmans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bram De Vos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. Tibo Bauwens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Senne Huysmans having to interfere. Martial De Meesemaeckere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Senne Huysmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Ludwig Clement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Senne Huysmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michiel Omblets hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Martial De Meesemaeckere who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Senne Huysmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Louis-Philippe Debruyn kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Huppelende Begijntjes FC's Martial De Meesemaeckere in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Piggy's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Clement in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Senne Huysmans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Senne Huysmans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bram De Vos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. Martial De Meesemaeckere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Piggy's Senne Huysmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Piggy from getting a goal against them. Martial De Meesemaeckere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Senne Huysmans having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Martial De Meesemaeckere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huppelende Begijntjes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martial De Meesemaeckere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Senne Huysmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martial De Meesemaeckere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Senne Huysmans having to interfere. A hard shot 92 in the game by Tibo Bauwens from a close distance when the talented Senne Huysmans managed to make a qualified save. FC Piggy's players were relieved. Senne Huysmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram De Vos in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Clement in the 94th minute of play forced FC Piggy's goalkeeper Senne Huysmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Louis-Philippe Debruyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huppelende Begijntjes FC played a much better game than FC Piggy and deserved their victory. The FC Piggy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
