An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Volckaerts in the 21st minute of play forced Vaul-Chavanne's goalkeeper Jarne Vrins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd play minute Willem Hostens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jarne Vrins. 1-0. After 25 minutes, Sam-Lucas Van Dessel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RFC Boeboe and the Vaul-Chavanne players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vaul-Chavanne booed when RFC Boeboe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam-Lucas Van Dessel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, RFC Boeboe's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Tielemans came free, but Regis Vranckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Regis Vranckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constant Van der Roost in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Volckaerts in the 33rd minute of play forced Vaul-Chavanne's goalkeeper Jarne Vrins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Vaul-Chavanne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Dewulf to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, RFC Boeboe's Willem Hostens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarne Vrins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Timothy Tielemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Regis Vranckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremy Volckaerts to strike the kick off in the second half. Jarne Vrins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Volckaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute RFC Boeboe were awarded a corner. Vince Wijnrijx went to the cornerflag to take it. RFC Boeboe's Simon Van Severen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jarne Vrins in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Willem Hostens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jarne Vrins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, RFC Boeboe's goalkeeper Regis Vranckx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timothy Tielemans. 66 minutes into the match, RFC Boeboe's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Schockaert came free, but Regis Vranckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaul-Chavanne's Jarne Vrins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Volckaerts in the 73rd minute of play. If Dave Schockaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Schockaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Willem Hostens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willem Hostens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Willem Hostens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jarne Vrins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarne Vrins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willem Hostens's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. RFC Boeboe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
