A collision led to FC Piggy getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jozef Smeyers hit a great ball. A hard shot by Daevy Meersman from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Senne Huysmans's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Senne Huysmans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brend Engelboorgs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Cornelis De Middeleer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, KSK Koewacht's goal looked a bit too open when Michiel Omblets came free, but Christoff Libreghts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brend Engelboorgs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michiel Omblets made a kick off. Tibaut Stuijckens hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Louis-Philippe Debruyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Piggy's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis-Philippe Debruyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoff Libreghts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Senne Huysmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brend Engelboorgs in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Cornelis De Middeleer managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSK Koewacht's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelis De Middeleer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Senne Huysmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoff Libreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michiel Omblets, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Michiel Omblets had several of the KSK Koewacht's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Christoff Libreghts as he didn't even see the shot coming. Christoff Libreghts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louis-Philippe Debruyn in the 70th minute. Louis-Philippe Debruyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Louis-Philippe Debruyn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christoff Libreghts, 1-2.
