Huppelende Begijntjes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Clement was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martial De Meesemaeckere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jarne Vrins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tibo Bauwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Timothy Tielemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Koninckx was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Schockaert to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tibo Bauwens in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarne Vrins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Huppelende Begijntjes FC's Martial De Meesemaeckere got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martial De Meesemaeckere in the 54th minute of play forced Vaul-Chavanne's goalkeeper Jarne Vrins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarne Vrins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Clement, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 82nd play minutes Bram De Vos shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Jarne Vrins and just under the crossbar into goal. Bram De Vos took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarne Vrins. Jarne Vrins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Vaul-Chavanne's Jarne Vrins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram De Vos in the 93rd minute of play. When Huppelende Begijntjes FC's Martial De Meesemaeckere in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vaul-Chavanne's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Huppelende Begijntjes FC fully deserved thier win.
