The FC Piggy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jarne Vrins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bertrand Jennis fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Jarne Vrins made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Louis-Philippe Debruyn sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes, Sebbe Biesen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Piggy and the Vaul-Chavanne players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes FC Piggy got a freekick which was hit by Sebbe Biesen. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Schockaert to strike the kick off in the second half. The FC Piggy fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when FC Piggy's Michiel Omblets looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. FC Piggy's Senne Huysmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Piggy from getting a goal against them. Timothy Tielemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Senne Huysmans having to interfere. Dave Schockaert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Senne Huysmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Senne Huysmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Schockaert in the 76th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Michiel Omblets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jarne Vrins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis-Philippe Debruyn in the 91st minute of play forced Vaul-Chavanne's goalkeeper Jarne Vrins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Senne Huysmans successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Michiel Omblets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Michiel Omblets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarne Vrins was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
