Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ludwig Clement started the match with the kick off. Huppelende Begijntjes FC's Sven Koninckx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Huppelende Begijntjes FC from getting a goal against them. Cornelis De Middeleer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven Koninckx firmly grabbed it by the left post. Martial De Meesemaeckere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Christoff Libreghts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoff Libreghts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibo Bauwens's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurenz Goorts during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KSK Koewacht getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Laurenz Goorts hit a great ball. Sven Koninckx made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Daevy Meersman sent off a good shot on target. Sven Koninckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brend Engelboorgs in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ludwig Clement's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoff Libreghts was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Sven Koninckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brend Engelboorgs, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Christoff Libreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram De Vos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the KSK Koewacht defense, Ludwig Clement kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoff Libreghts. The KSK Koewacht fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoff Libreghts should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Huppelende Begijntjes FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jos Van der Goten hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial De Meesemaeckere in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoff Libreghts saved KSK Koewacht from getting behind. Ernst van Eijnde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KSK Koewacht's Christoff Libreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Clement in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Brend Engelboorgs made the kick off in the second half. Ernst van Eijnde lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 57th minute, Ernst van Eijnde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Koninckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daevy Meersman in the 58th minute of play. Martial De Meesemaeckere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoff Libreghts having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurenz Goorts in the 68th minute of play forced Huppelende Begijntjes FC's goalkeeper Sven Koninckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bram De Vos's late challenge caught a KSK Koewacht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bram De Vos helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Huppelende Begijntjes FC got a freekick which was hit by Bram De Vos. In the 74th match minute, KSK Koewacht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurenz Goorts to maneuver through the defense. Laurenz Goorts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Koninckx having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelis De Middeleer in the 78th minute of play forced Huppelende Begijntjes FC's goalkeeper Sven Koninckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martial De Meesemaeckere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Christoff Libreghts made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Bram De Vos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Huppelende Begijntjes FC's Martial De Meesemaeckere got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
