After 3 played minutes AFC Reijtje got a freekick which was hit by Roland Panhuyse. Jonathan De Geest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Van der Willeghem having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Lambermont's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Geerts came free, but Christofere Custermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Lambermont got a freekick which was hit by Sylven De Martelaere. Lambermont's Christofere Custermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Lambermont from getting a goal against them. Lambermont's Christofere Custermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Geerts in the 36th minute of play. Yves Voorhof kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lambermont's Yanick Van Langhendoncx got a free kick in the 40th minute. Angelo Geerts succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Angelo Geerts's late challenge caught a Lambermont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Geerts helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AFC Reijtje's Angelo Geerts got a free kick in the 46th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan De Geest in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold Van der Willeghem saved AFC Reijtje from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan De Geest made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Geerts in the 59th minute of play forced Lambermont's goalkeeper Christofere Custermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, one of Lambermont:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lambermont. The referee gave AFC Reijtje a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Billy Van Cleynenbreugel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lambermont's Christofere Custermans. 3-1. Jonathan De Geest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Harold Van der Willeghem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harold Van der Willeghem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Lambermont's Harold Van der Willeghem threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan De Geest, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 84 played minutes AFC Reijtje got a freekick which was hit by Roland Panhuyse. Hendrik Snijers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. AFC Reijtje's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
