Erwin-Alexander Ingleberts short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Jerry De Kerpel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guilian Callens's late challenge caught a FC Trembleur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilian Callens helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes VC Ganshoren got a freekick which was hit by Guilian Callens. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erwin-Alexander Inglebert during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, VC Ganshoren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin-Alexander Inglebert to maneuver through the defense. FC Trembleur's Jerry De Kerpel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Trembleur from getting a goal against them. When Paul-Louis Gobbelijns came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the VC Ganshoren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul-Louis Gobbelijns couldn't finish the play. Guilian Callens got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Guilian Callens hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Jongbloedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Oscar Jongbloedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
