Oliver Suteweij recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Van Cleijnenbreughel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Debruyn in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Suteweij in the 34th minute of play forced MESUDIYEFT's goalkeeper Axel Van Cleijnenbreughel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Debruyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Van Cleijnenbreughel having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Victor Verhaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Debruyn was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Tomas Debruyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Van Cleijnenbreughel was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Oliver Suteweij received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
