An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Severyns in the 15th minute of play forced MESUDIYEFT's goalkeeper Axel Van Cleijnenbreughel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertan Vandenberge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Victor Verhaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MESUDIYEFT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Verhaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Van Cleijnenbreughel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Van Achtens in the 24th minute of the match. Bertan Vandenberge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Van Cleijnenbreughel having to interfere. The supporters of MESUDIYEFT booed when Zelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jilian De Messemaecker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xander Van Gorp might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birger Van Acht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xander Van Gorp ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jules Huijsmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
