After a rather tough play, Aartselaar 's Johnny Declerck got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes, vg-boys's Koen Lembrechts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philipp De Hont came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in vg-boys reached it. Kobe Baekelandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur-Maurits Slabbaert in the 35th minute of the match. Jacq Van Meensel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Kobe Baekelandt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kobe Baekelandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur-Maurits Slabbaert in the 37th minute of the match. Aartselaar 's Philipp De Hont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artuur De Vlaeminck in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Aartselaar getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Johnny Declerck hit a great ball. With 47 minutes on the clock, Cederique Herinckx commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th minute, one of Aartselaar :s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aartselaar . In the 49th minute there was a penalty for vg-boys. Koen Lembrechts stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Philipp De Hont. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artuur De Vlaeminck to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artuur De Vlaeminck in the 56th minute of play forced Aartselaar 's goalkeeper Philipp De Hont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Debruyn struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Philipp De Hont didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for vg-boys. Jacq Van Meensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herald Ooms during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herald Ooms kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ernst De Swert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kobe Baekelandt. vg-boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jacq Van Meensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
