In the 18th minute, Kasper Decloedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stef Deville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoud Uyttebroeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantijn Gendre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stef Deville having to interfere. Kersoutem's Stef Deville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch De Roeck in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Gendre in the 32nd minute of play forced Kersoutem's goalkeeper Stef Deville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kersoutem's Francois Van Beersel got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Arrakis's Constantijn Gendre in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantijn Gendre to make the kick off. Roland Van Der Heijden kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Kersoutem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobus Beullens to maneuver through the defense. Constantijn Gendre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Stef Deville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoud Uyttebroeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stef Deville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantijn Gendre in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobus Beullens in the 78th minute of play forced Arrakis's goalkeeper Thomas Van de Gaer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kersoutem's Roland Van Der Heijden got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Mitch De Roeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrakis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitch De Roeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantijn Gendre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stef Deville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Arrakis's Constantijn Gendre made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stef Deville was left in no man's land by his defense there!
