Lucien Sliepers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneel De Mesemacre having to interfere. When Bavo Imbreghts came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bavo Imbreghts couldn't finish the play. The referee gave Tongeren Youth Academy a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oswald Massenhove, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe's Billy Martens. 0-1. Corneel De Mesemacre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bavo Imbreghts in the 18th minute of play. Renzo Van Der Heijden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Corneel De Mesemacre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneel De Mesemacre made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Renzo Van Der Heijden sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jamie Weijgaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billy Martens was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bavo Imbreghts in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneel De Mesemacre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34thth minute of the game Sebbe Weggers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe's Billy Martens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Tongeren Youth Academy's goalkeeper Corneel De Mesemacre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renzo Van Der Heijden. Renzo Van Der Heijden in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Corneel De Mesemacre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renzo Van Der Heijden succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 44th playminute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamie Weijgaerts to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe's zone, Jamie Weijgaerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Martens came out of the goal and Jamie Weijgaerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Renzo Van Der Heijden managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe's supporters rose to their feet, but Renzo Van Der Heijden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneel De Mesemacre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bavo Imbreghts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the match Jef Van Den Linden shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corneel De Mesemacre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Bavo Imbreghts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tongeren Youth Academy's Corneel De Mesemacre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Billy Martens made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Sebbe Weggers sent off a good shot on target. If Bavo Imbreghts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corneel De Mesemacre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renzo Van Der Heijden in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Renzo Van Der Heijden notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tongeren Youth Academy's Corneel De Mesemacre. Corneel De Mesemacre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe's Renzo Van Der Heijden in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
