Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brent Van Cruchten got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Aineffe got a freekick which was hit by Tran Henderickx. 6 minutes into the game, Dimitry De Maesschalck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Van de Gaer. Dimitry De Maesschalck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Constantijn Gendre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Mitch De Roeck notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Aineffe's Bastian Ruttens. Bastian Ruttens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Constantijn Gendre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantijn Gendre struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bastian Ruttens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrakis. Glenn Van Aghten hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Brent Van Cruchten kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Kasper Decloedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Arrakis's Vicente Callaerts got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Staf vrolix sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arrakis's Thomas Van de Gaer didn't even have to move. Kasper Decloedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastian Ruttens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Decloedt ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnoud Uyttebroeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Ruttens having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Constantijn Gendre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kasper Decloedt took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastian Ruttens. Bastian Ruttens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thomas Van de Gaer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Van Cruchten, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantijn Gendre made a kick off. Bastian Ruttens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantijn Gendre went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Aineffe's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Decloedt came free, but Bastian Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Brent Van Cruchten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Van de Gaer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 64 in the game by Constantijn Gendre from a close distance when the talented Bastian Ruttens managed to make a qualified save. Aineffe's players were relieved. Constantijn Gendre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Van de Gaer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Van Cruchten in the 68th minute of play. Bastian Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantijn Gendre in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Constantijn Gendre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Ruttens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Arrakis's Kasper Decloedt got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Constantijn Gendre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantijn Gendre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bastian Ruttens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sam-Lucas Gijselinx during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bastian Ruttens didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantijn Gendre in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastian Ruttens saved Aineffe from getting behind. Arrakis's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
