After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Johannes Goens managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 78thth minute of the game Renzo Van Der Heijden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Laakdal's Thommy den Ronden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Bavo Imbreghts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Thommy den Ronden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe's zone, Johannes Goens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Martens came out of the goal and Johannes Goens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thommy den Ronden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bavo Imbreghts in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Club Laakdal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Renzo Van Der Heijden fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Thommy den Ronden managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when KFC Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe's Renzo Van Der Heijden fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Club Laakdal's Thommy den Ronden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Laakdal from getting a goal against them. Bavo Imbreghts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thommy den Ronden having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bavo Imbreghts in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thommy den Ronden saved Club Laakdal from getting behind.
