Remie Van Beylen came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by KSV Jabbeke's Dre Van Eyken. But to his dismay, Dre Van Eyken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Yoeri Koppens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remie Van Beylen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Remie Van Beylen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoeri Koppens in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Yoeri Koppens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remie Van Beylen. FC SKALPEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yoeri Koppens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Dre Van Eyken came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the KSV Jabbeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dre Van Eyken couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes KSV Jabbeke got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Koens. Yoeri Koppens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remie Van Beylen having to interfere. Yoeri Koppens struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Remie Van Beylen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Jabbeke. In the 48th minute Yoeri Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remie Van Beylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yoeri Koppens was the one to do the kick off. Remie Van Beylen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dre Van Eyken in the 52nd minute of the match. Remie Van Beylen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoeri Koppens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Yoeri Koppens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remie Van Beylen. The goal made the score 0-4. Remie Van Beylen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yoeri Koppens's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. KSV Jabbeke's Dre Van Eyken got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dre Van Eyken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yoachim Eekhout in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ewout Laureys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Yoeri Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remie Van Beylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Angelo Van Beringen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewout Laureys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Yoachim Eekhout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewout Laureys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KSV Jabbeke played a much better game than FC SKALPEL and deserved their victory. The FC SKALPEL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
