The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommi Verhaghen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Peter-Jan Scheerens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Jamieson struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Tommi Verhaghen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for vk valaarhof. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Jamieson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommi Verhaghen saved FC Nitipong United from getting behind. Peter-Jan Scheerens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jannick Van Der Elst got free with Wes Teunis in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, vk valaarhof's goalkeeper Wes Teunis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jannick Van Der Elst. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommi Verhaghen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Angelo Jamieson sped through FC Nitipong United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommi Verhaghen. Kevin Diependaele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wes Teunis having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Gilbert De Kelper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. vk valaarhof played a much better game than FC Nitipong United and deserved their victory. The FC Nitipong United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
