In the 6th minute, Tristan Godet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Tristan Godet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joannes Van den Berchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Koten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Van den Sande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Sebastian Van den Sande was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Diedrik Coopmans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diedrik Coopmans really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 33 minutes in the game, Diedrik Coopmans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastian Van den Sande having to interfere. A collision led to Les Hmar du 1480 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Andre Gielis hit a great ball. Joannes Van den Berchen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tristan Godet went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Van Eynde made a kick off. Tristan Godet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Joannes Van den Berchen made a huge save. The supporters of Peperhol booed when Les Hmar du 1480 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youri Gyselincx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peperhol were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Les Hmar du 1480's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claude de Pelsmakere took the corner. In the 61st minute, Peperhol's Andreas Van Eynde ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joannes Van den Berchen. Joannes Van den Berchen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 64th minute, Roni Vits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peperhol's Sebastian Van den Sande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Koten in the 70th minute of play. Les Hmar du 1480's Hubert Koten got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Van Eynde struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Joannes Van den Berchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peperhol. After a rather tough play, Peperhol's Claude de Pelsmakere got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peperhol walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
