An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Gyselincx in the 4th minute of play forced S.E.R.'s goalkeeper Gustave Weijgaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S.E.R.'s Gustave Weijgaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diedrik Coopmans in the 5th minute of play. Cornelis De Jong's late challenge caught a S.E.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelis De Jong helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Les Hmar du 1480 got a freekick which was hit by Cornelis De Jong. Gustave Weijgaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diedrik Coopmans in the 14th minute of play. If Natan Manaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natan Manaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Joannes Van den Berchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, S.E.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Diedrik Coopmans came free, but Gustave Weijgaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathieu-Maxim Coomans's late challenge caught a S.E.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathieu-Maxim Coomans helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the game, one of Les Hmar du 1480:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 39 played minutes Les Hmar du 1480 got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu-Maxim Coomans. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Lander De Witte managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E.R.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lander De Witte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joannes Van den Berchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Roni Vits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natan Manaers might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joannes Van den Berchen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natan Manaers ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 48 minutes, Joop Mathijs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.R.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Joop Mathijs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Natan Manaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joannes Van den Berchen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Les Hmar du 1480's zone, Adolf Persoons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joannes Van den Berchen came out of the goal and Adolf Persoons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 63 in the game by Natan Manaers from a close distance when the talented Joannes Van den Berchen managed to make a qualified save. Les Hmar du 1480's players were relieved. Hubert Koten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Weijgaerts having to interfere. Diedrik Coopmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustave Weijgaerts having to make a save. If Hubert Koten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hubert Koten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joop Mathijs fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E.R.'s protests and gave Joop Mathijs a yellow card for diving instead. Joop Mathijs hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. S.E.R.'s Gustave Weijgaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diedrik Coopmans in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, S.E.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Koten came free, but Gustave Weijgaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
