With his leg Joannes Van den Berchen managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Royal Entente Durbuy's Jammy Kerselaers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Royal Entente Durbuy booed when Les Hmar du 1480 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Gielis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Les Hmar du 1480's zone, Sam-Lucas De Jong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joannes Van den Berchen came out of the goal and Sam-Lucas De Jong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joannes Van den Berchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam-Lucas De Jong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Koten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavier Van Huyck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Jammy Kerselaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Les Hmar du 1480's zone, Sam-Lucas De Jong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joannes Van den Berchen came out of the goal and Sam-Lucas De Jong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joannes Van den Berchen came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Entente Durbuy's Jammy Kerselaers. But to his dismay, Jammy Kerselaers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jammy Kerselaers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joannes Van den Berchen having to make a save. 47 minutes into the game, Sam-Lucas De Jong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joannes Van den Berchen. Sam-Lucas De Jong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diedrik Coopmans made a kick off. When Sam-Lucas De Jong came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Royal Entente Durbuy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam-Lucas De Jong couldn't finish the play. Jammy Kerselaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam-Lucas De Jong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joannes Van den Berchen having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Les Hmar du 1480's goal looked a bit too open when Sam-Lucas De Jong came free, but Joannes Van den Berchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam-Lucas De Jong in the 62nd minute of play forced Les Hmar du 1480's goalkeeper Joannes Van den Berchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jammy Kerselaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam-Lucas De Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joannes Van den Berchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jammy Kerselaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Roni Vits charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roni Vits the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Les Hmar du 1480 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Roni Vits hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Jammy Kerselaers put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joannes Van den Berchen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diedrik Coopmans in the 78th minute of play forced Royal Entente Durbuy's goalkeeper Xavier Van Huyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benoit Lijsens kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sam-Lucas De Jong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joannes Van den Berchen having to interfere. Joannes Van den Berchen came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Entente Durbuy's Sam-Lucas De Jong. But to his dismay, Sam-Lucas De Jong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Royal Entente Durbuy fully deserved thier win.
