Sebastian Van den Sande made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Klaas Loosen sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Hollanders in the 4th minute of play forced Peperhol's goalkeeper Sebastian Van den Sande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Peperhol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yelle Valckx to maneuver through the defense. If Serge Hollanders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Thierry Wautiers fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peperhol's protests and gave Thierry Wautiers a yellow card for diving instead. Tristan Godet took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Slaghmeulders. Adam Slaghmeulders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Serge Hollanders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sebastian Van den Sande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Peperhol's Andreas Van Eynde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Slaghmeulders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serge Hollanders was the one to do the kick off. Peperhol's Sebastian Van den Sande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serge Hollanders in the 67th minute of play. If Rafael Sterkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Peperhol's zone, Klaas Loosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Van den Sande came out of the goal and Klaas Loosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peperhol's Tristan Godet got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Loosen in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Van den Sande saved Peperhol from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Peperhol's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Hollanders came free, but Sebastian Van den Sande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peperhol's Sebastian Van den Sande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serge Hollanders in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Gertjan Roekeloos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peperhol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walderdonk the free kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peperhol walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
