Stef Van Espen charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stef Van Espen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Therapy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stef Van Espen to maneuver through the defense. Schrikhoek's Glenn Van Meensel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Schrikhoek getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Robert Soens hit a great ball. Jimmy Spailer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claude Ingelborgh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claude Ingelborgh in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattheo Vercouteren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Schrikhoek's Glenn Van Meensel got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Jimmy Spailer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yens Coremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnny De Fever kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mattheo Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roben De Fever, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Claude Ingelborgh came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Therapy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Ingelborgh couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Claude Ingelborgh sped through Schrikhoek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mattheo Vercouteren. Boudewijn Van de Poel hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Therapy FC's zone, Jimmy Spailer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Van den Enden came out of the goal and Jimmy Spailer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jimmy Spailer came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Schrikhoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Spailer couldn't finish the play. When Therapy FC's Yens Coremans in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mattheo Vercouteren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Stef Van Espen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Therapy FC had won after a very even match.
