Henrik Rouvroys kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Albert Kortens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luka United's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Kortens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Van den Enden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean De Vos in the 17th minute of play forced Therapy FC's goalkeeper Albert Van den Enden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean De Vos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Claude Ingelborgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Therapy FC's Claude Ingelborgh got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Luka United got a freekick which was hit by Albert Kortens. Claude Ingelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dean De Vos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Van den Enden having to interfere. If Albert Kortens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Maxime Huijbrechs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claude Ingelborgh was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Albert Kortens rounded Therapy FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. 58 minutes into the match, Therapy FC's goalkeeper Albert Van den Enden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dean De Vos. Andries Parmentier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yens Coremans in the 60th minute of the match. Dean De Vos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Van den Enden having to interfere. Dean De Vos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Albert Van den Enden made a huge save. Andries Parmentier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Ingelborgh in the 75th minute of play. Claude Ingelborgh's late challenge caught a Luka United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claude Ingelborgh helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Luka United booed when Therapy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Ingelborgh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Dean De Vos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luka United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Claude Ingelborgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luka United's Albert Kortens was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sammy Van Hallebeeck during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Therapy FC got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Van Hallebeeck. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Luka United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
