Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Kortens started the match with the kick off. The Schrikhoek fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Schrikhoek's Glenn Van Meensel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andries Van Linthaudt's late challenge caught a Schrikhoek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andries Van Linthaudt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Luka United's Andries Van Linthaudt got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Tran Cuejvers sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Luka United's Andries Parmentier didn't even have to move. Jimmy Spailer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Spailer in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andries Parmentier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luka United's Andries Parmentier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Spailer in the 20th minute of play. If Glenn Van Meensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Jimmy Spailer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schrikhoek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jimmy Spailer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Schrikhoek's Jimmy Spailer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andries Parmentier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Luka United's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Spailer came free, but Andries Parmentier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Albert Kortens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattheo Vercouteren was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half Schrikhoek were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glenn Van Meensel to strike the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Stein Toeback commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Luka United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Schrikhoek:s goal. 59 minutes into the match, Schrikhoek's goal looked a bit too open when Dean De Vos came free, but Mattheo Vercouteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andries Parmentier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Van Meensel in the 68th minute of play. If Dean De Vos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn Van Meensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luka United's Andries Parmentier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Van Meensel in the 86th minute of play. Andries Parmentier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Van Meensel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the match Johnny De Fever shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andries Parmentier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andries Parmentier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Van Meensel in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes Luka United got a freekick which was hit by Andries Van Linthaudt. If Glenn Van Meensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Schrikhoek players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
