Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Glenn Van Meensel made the kick off which started today's match. Schrikhoek's Glenn Van Meensel got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattheo Vercouteren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Mattheo Vercouteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Van de Zande in the 9th minute of play. Glenn Van Meensel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Achilles Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn Van Meensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achilles Goons having to interfere. In the 18th minute Glenn Van Meensel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achilles Goons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Schrikhoek's Jimmy Spailer got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samuel Van de Zande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Spailer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Achilles Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Samuel Van de Zande made the kick off in the second half. Samuel Van de Zande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Schrikhoek's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Beeckmans came free, but Mattheo Vercouteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattheo Vercouteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Van de Zande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Schrikhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Soens to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Degryse charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joachim Degryse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 64 minutes into the game, VC Wateringen's Jerry Beeckmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattheo Vercouteren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Schrikhoek's zone, Samuel Van de Zande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattheo Vercouteren came out of the goal and Samuel Van de Zande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmy Spailers short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Achilles Goons to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jimmy Spailer struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Achilles Goons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schrikhoek. Schrikhoek were furious when Tran Cuejvers was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Schrikhoek fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Mattheo Vercouteren went to the wrong direction when Goffrey Van Clijnebreugel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With his leg Achilles Goons managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Schrikhoek's Jimmy Spailer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute, Jerry Beeckmans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC Wateringen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Samuel Van de Zande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
