In the 5th minute, Claude Ingelborgh made a precise shot to the right of Berten Verheijd. Sc Varac's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Sc Varac's Lorenzo De Martelaere in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Therapy FC's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Therapy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo De Martelaere came free, but Albert Van den Enden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sc Varac booed when Therapy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Huijbrechs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dylan Verbraecken struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Albert Van den Enden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sc Varac. With a little luck, Therapy FC's Albert Van den Enden got control of the ball when Diego Roggen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Lorenzo De Martelaere tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albert Van den Enden saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Sc Varac's Diego Roggen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albert Van den Enden. Albert Van den Enden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Albert Van den Enden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Verbraecken in the 23rd minute of the match. Albert Van den Enden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dylan Verbraecken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sc Varac's Lorenzo De Martelaere in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sc Varac's Berten Verheijd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Ingelborgh in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Diego Roggen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sc Varac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Roggen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Lorenzo De Martelaere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Van den Enden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxime Huijbrechs kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Sc Varac got a corner. Therapy FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorenzo De Martelaere ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Sc Varac's Bart Van De Broeck getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo De Martelaere to strike the kick off in the second half. When Diego Roggen came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sc Varac fans jumped to their feet. After 57 minutes of play, Sc Varac's Lorenzo De Martelaere made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Van den Enden was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Niels Hagemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sc Varac's Berten Verheijd got control of the ball when Stef Van Espen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Therapy FC's zone, Lorenzo De Martelaere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Van den Enden came out of the goal and Lorenzo De Martelaere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Niels Hagemans fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sc Varac's protests and gave Niels Hagemans a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sc Varac! In the 74th minute Claude Ingelborgh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berten Verheijd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Lorenzo De Martelaere who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Therapy FC's Albert Van den Enden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Therapy FC's goalkeeper Albert Van den Enden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Therapy FC defense, Diego Roggen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Van den Enden. The Therapy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Van den Enden should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Therapy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Verbraecken came free, but Albert Van den Enden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sc Varac's Dylan Verbraecken got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lorenzo De Martelaere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Raymaekers during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Therapy FC booed when Sc Varac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Raymaekers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Therapy FC's Roben De Fever broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Roggen in the 94th minute of play forced Therapy FC's goalkeeper Albert Van den Enden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Van den Enden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo De Martelaere in the 97th minute of play. A hard shot 98 in the game by Stef Van Espen from a close distance when the talented Berten Verheijd managed to make a qualified save. Sc Varac's players were relieved. Sc Varac walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
