Quillian Vereijt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Tikken en weg's Jos Van der Goten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quillian Vereijt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Tikken en weg booed when Park FC Houthalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Limpens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tikken en weg's Loui Hollandts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjorven De Wyngaert in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Park FC Houthalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jammy De Potter to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Quillian Vereijt managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Tikken en weg's Jos Van der Goten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st match minute, Park FC Houthalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Limpens to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Tikken en weg's Jos Van der Goten broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Mario Celis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Pastijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jos Van der Goten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Quillian Vereijt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jos Van der Goten made the kick off in the second half. Quillian Vereijt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jos Van der Goten's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 70th minute, Jos Van der Goten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Celis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Uijterhove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Quillian Vereijt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball had pretty good speed, but Loui Hollandts firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jos Van der Goten in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quillian Vereijt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Tikken en weg were the better team. Tikken en weg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
