Nickolas De Vleeschauwer charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Stephan Hellemons's late challenge caught a Luka United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Van de Zande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Luka United got a freekick which was hit by Albert Kortens. After 18 played minutes VC Wateringen got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Hellemons. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Albert Kortens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luka United's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Kortens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achilles Goons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerry Beeckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Luka United's Brain Blomme got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Andries Parmentier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Beeckmans in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Luka United booed when VC Wateringen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Van de Zande didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes, Rein Vrancken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC Wateringen and the Luka United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rein Vrancken kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Luka United were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after VC Wateringen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nickolas De Vleeschauwer took the corner. The corner led Luka United's Nickolas De Vleeschauwer to fire away a dangerous shot which Achilles Goons despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 37th minute when Albert Kortens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Andries Parmentier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Van de Zande went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Beeckmans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Luka United's zone, Jerry Beeckmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andries Parmentier came out of the goal and Jerry Beeckmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Jerry Beeckmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Wateringen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Beeckmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerry Beeckmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Andries Parmentier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, VC Wateringen's Rein Vrancken got a free kick in the 70th minute. Samuel Van de Zande kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Albert Kortens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Achilles Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andries Parmentier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Van Craesbeeck in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Luka United's goalkeeper Andries Parmentier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerry Beeckmans. 87 minutes into the match, Rein Vrancken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andries Parmentier. Luka United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rein Vrancken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Achilles Goons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean De Vos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achilles Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Kortens in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded VC Wateringen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Luka United.
